(Highlights from Pastor Jerry’s Nov 24 Sunday message)

We hunger in the natural … but in reality we are hungry for the things of God.  Judson Cornwall once related a story of how after leaving an anointed service he went home, went to the fridge to make a Dagwood sandwich. As he opened the fridge door the Lord spoke to him saying, “Judson, you are hungry for me!”

The anointing abides and causes us to hunger after Him! To “ABIDE” means means to “remain” or and entails far more than the idea of continued belief in the Savior. To “abide” is a verb. It is active. Abiding in Christ is not a feeling or a belief, but something we do. Jesus further illustrates this abiding relationship in John 15:5“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.”  The anointing comes with those who are prepared.

It is a dangerous thing for the Creator of the universe to...

·       speak to you in a service during worship and reveal to you His hidden plans and anoint you to be a trumpeter of that vision and for you not to speak out!

·       cause you to be the recipient of a dream from God that he never fails to advance prayer and deliverance for all of us.

·       use you in anointed worship, to have His Holy Spirit speak to someone in the service and you not be open to His direction

·       give you songs that are never sung to be aborted.

·       be asked to be an inspiration to others in worship by the uplifting of hands and not be obedient.

·       speak to you prophetically and not have you share it.

“If you want to be fine, be connected to the Vine!”

The key truth is… GOD’S EYES ARE ON YOU!  He knows everything about you.  We will die spiritually if we do not abide in the abiding!

We are to be supernatural people! Jesus’s birth was supernatural.  “My people perish (go into captivity) because of lack of revelation knowledge of Me.” (Hosea 4:6)

God has produced HOPE in us for the future. Things from God (dreams, visions, etc) are not to be chalked up to be just “an undigested piece of beef.”

Pastor Jerry shared Bishop Mc Donald’s message from dedication of Hope Centre Family Church on December 2, 2004. Here are the highlights:

“God has put His name on this place.  I will put My eyes there – we have His attention!  His protection is upon us. He promises provision for us.  He will put His heart here.  His heart burns with passion for us. He will put His fire here.  He will hallow this place with His power.  The church needs radical people!
