IT STARTS IN THE HEART OF GOD

Highlights from Pastor Jerry’s message on December 1, 2024

Pastor Jerry reviewed the prophetic message, based on the Word of God, given by Bishop McDonald at the dedication of Hope Centre Family Church on December 2, 2004:

God has put His name here, His eyes are on us, His protection is upon us, He promises provision for us, He has put His heart here, His heart burns with passion for us, * He will hallow this place with His grace and His power! 

We are now in our 21st year, celebrating God’s blessings.

We, as Christians, have a spirit of wisdom and revelation.  Pastor John, last week, shared how his heart aches for the manifest presence of God; and Pastor Richard shared how God wants all of us – 100%.

IT STARTS IN THE HEART!  We hear the Spirit of God and react to His direction.  Things should be done with a spirit of excellence – everything done in order!   The one who brings the message is the high priest of the service.  If you do not recognize the anointing, you don’t have discernment.  It has to get from the head to the heart! 

Testimony: Merelys shared how she had a heart’s desire to be on the praise team but she was told she was tone deaf.  Three times she said Pastor Jerry asked her to be on the team.  She realized that God was giving her the desire of her heart so she obeyed.

It is dangerous to pray and pray and then not be obedient when God answers.  The truth has to get from the head to the heart! If we do not exercise obedience God will remove the anointing.  In Psalm 51 David prayed, “Do not take your Holy Spirit from me.”

We want a Word in Season. The Bishop’s prophetic word for Hope Centre was based on 1 Kings 9:30… You never have to worry, Jesus’ presence is covering this place forever. What we should understand prophetically is that we already are in covenant with God. We have God’s attention! It all starts in the heart. 

TESTIMONY: Leta shared how her doctor told her that she had chronic disease and having lost three siblings to this disease she has made herself sick worrying.  When Pastor Jerry & Richard prayed for her and the Holy Spirit spoke the words, “Hello Mother!” she felt the anointing of God.  This week she was told she does not have the disease.

Prayer has forged unity in this congregation. We need to see every prayer as a divine intervention of God.  IT STARTS WITH THE HEART OF GOD!  The heart beat moves your heart into positive momentum.  If you know what’s in your heart you will watch what comes out of your mouth.
